CPR Repairs 15″ Diameter Shaft In-Place in Coal Yard
CUSTOMER: A coal fired power plant in Ontario
APPLICATION DATE: February 1998
PROBLEM: Collapse of split roller bearing badly damaged stacker/reclaimer 15″ DIA shaft in coal yard.
SUBSTRATE: Steel
APPLICATION METHOD: After preparation CPR Material was injected as per proven CPR repair procedures.
CPR FACTS: Both inboard and outboard shaft areas were done. Repair was still in service as of publication of this document in November 2005.
