CPR Injection to Reseat Loose Liners
CUSTOMER: Automotive parts manufacturer in Ontario
APPLICATION DATE: June 2001
PROBLEM: Liners are worn on stamping machine.
SUBSTRATE: Carbon Steel
APPLICATION METHOD: Under liner was ground and degreased with MEK followed by injection of CPR Material through 1/2 ” holes drilled into new spacer.
CPR FACTS: CPR Material is a terrific material for this type of application to pick up voids and stabilize liners both in stamping machines and steel mills.
Due to low clearances, tracking was grooved out in the substrate to allow for the material to flow to the lowest clearance areas.
Liner was bolted into place.
CPR Material was injected into predrilled holes from the bottom up.
