CPR – Blasts and Coats a Flare Knock Out Drum at a local Refinery in Ontario

CPR Coats Flare Knock Out Drum

CUSTOMER: Petrochemical refinery in Ontario

PROBLEM: No real problem. Customer wanted to add some protection to the inside of the flare, which was just replaced with new steel.

SUBSTRATE: Carbon Steel

APPLICATION METHOD: Substrate was blasted to a SSPC-SP10, 3-4 mil profile. The protective coating materials were applied by applicator to the substrate.

Specialized materials for this type of application could have been accomplished with a medium grade material, however the customer decided to proceed with the top shelf product which was a little more difficult to apply.
