CPR Increases Efficiency In NEW Drinking Water Pump
CUSTOMER: A pump OEM in southern Ontario.
APPLICATION DATE: August 1996
PROBLEM: Two brand new horizontal split case pumps for a U.S. customer were found to be performing at below guaranteed efficiency. In order to meet performance guarantee and not incur financial penalties, the OEM proceeded to coat the new casings with CPR Material (approved for potable water).
SUBSTRATE: Cast Iron
APPLICATION METHOD: CPR Material was applied in accordance with CPR written application guidelines. After coating, the pumps were tested and CPR Material improved the efficiency nearly 3% compared to the original, new and uncoated pump.
CPR FACTS: The CPR Material used is approved for contact with potable water and is a PROVEN efficiency enhancement coating yielding increases in efficiency from 2-7% (contact CPR Ontario to view test documentation).
