CPR Keeps Prop in Service

APPLICATION DATE: December 2000

PROBLEM: Propeller had developed two cracks and ship was going to be put out of service until new propeller arrived.

SUBSTRATE: Nickel, Copper and Bronze

APPLICATION METHOD: Existing cracks were ground out and die checked until there was no visible sign of cracks. Tina and the Canadian Coast Guard approved the repair based on periodic checks daily. The propeller ran for 13 months without further issues until the new propeller was delivered. Other steam leak problems aboard ship were repaired with CPR Material after this job was completed with great success.

CPR FACTS: CPR Material used is a cavitation resistant material with incredible bond strength.
