CPR Repairs Tainter Valve Guides
CUSTOMER: St. Lawrence Seaway Lock 1 at the Welland Canal
APPLICATION DATE: September 2001
PROBLEM: Taiter valve has worn over the past 40 years and is causing the Bernoulli effect
to wear the guides of the valve on the cement wall.
APPLICATION METHOD: Blast the area, hand apply and machine back to tolerances.
Wear Resistant Paste Grade Material was usd.
