APPLICATION DATE: 2004
PROBLEM: Steam cutting on flanges of low pressure turbine connecting pieces at steam inlet.
SUBSTRATE: Steel
APPLICATION METHOD: After surface preparation CPR Material was applied to areas damaged by steam cutting via a forming technique procedure.
CPR FACTS: This type of repair is also used by turbine OEMs for their customers. It eliminates the need for any weld repair.
